Placements24 is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead software implementation projects from a remote setting in South Africa. You will plan, execute, and close projects within scope, time, and budget while coordinating internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of IT project management experience focusing on software implementation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and waterfall approaches.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Jira, Asana or Trello for project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, focusing on software development and system integration lifecycles.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
• Facilitate clear communication between all project stakeholders, including development teams, IT operations, and business units.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and business objectives.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams in a remote work environment.
