Placements24 is seeking a specialized Intellectual Property Lawyer for a fully remote role to protect and manage the company’s IP portfolio. You will advise on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and handle related agreements and disputes across global markets.

The ideal candidate is an experienced IP attorney with a strong technical background who can thrive in a collaborative remote environment and guide cross-functional teams in R&D, marketing, and product development.

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with IP specialization and high court status.
• Minimum 6 years of proven IP law experience in prosecution, transactions, and disputes.
• Strong technical background in STEM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop IP protection and enforcement strategies globally.
• Conduct IP due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, and licenses.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP licenses, assignments, and R&D agreements.
• Manage patent and trademark application and prosecution processes.
• Advise on IP compliance, infringement risks, and dispute strategies.
• Provide opinions on freedom-to-operate analyses.
