Placements24 is seeking a remote Investment Banking Associate to join a globally distributed team. You will support origination and execution of complex transactions, including M&A and capital raises, and help build advanced financial models and client-ready presentations.

The ideal candidate has a finance degree and 3–5 years in investment banking or related fields, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to work effectively in a virtual team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and Excel.
• Experience creating client-facing presentations using PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and modeling for M&A and capital markets.
• Prepare client materials such as pitch books, memorandums, and presentations.
• Conduct industry and company research to support strategies and opportunities.
• Coordinate with deal teams, clients, and advisors throughout transactions.
• Manage large datasets to derive actionable client insights.
• Ensure work adheres to high professional standards in a remote setting.
