Placements24 is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for a completely remote role, based from Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will support origination and execution of M&A transactions, develop advanced financial models, and prepare client materials for strategic deals with global reach.

The ideal candidate will have an MBA or Master’s in Finance/Economics and 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a proven track record in valuation and financial analysis.

• Proven proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
