Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities across property types and geographic markets.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support investment theses.
• Develop and maintain financial models (e.g., DCF, pro formas) to assess investment viability and returns.
• Support due diligence by gathering and analyzing property-level data, financial statements, and legal documents.
• Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal review and investment committee meetings.
• Monitor performance of portfolio investments and assist with reporting requirements.

Our client, a rapidly expanding real estate investment firm, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Real Estate Investment Associate to join their fully remote team. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to gain extensive experience in real estate investment analysis, deal sourcing, and portfolio management from the comfort of their home office. The Associate will support senior investment professionals by conducting market research, preparing financial models, and assisting with due diligence processes for a wide range of real estate assets. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities across various property types and geographic markets.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support investment theses.
• Develop and maintain financial models (e.g., discounted cash flow, pro forma statements) to assess investment viability and returns.
• Support the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing property-level data, financial statements, and legal documents.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and other materials for internal review and investment committee meetings.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio investments and assist with reporting requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members, brokers, consultants, and legal counsel.
• Stay abreast of real estate market trends, economic indicators, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related business field.
• 0-3 years of experience in real estate finance, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related analytical role. Internships in these fields will be considered.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of financial modeling principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent research, written, and verbal communication skills.
