Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Clerk for a fully remote role supporting multiple sales channels. You will perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and help manage stock across warehouses to prevent stockouts.

The ideal candidate has experience in inventory control, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently from a home office while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Inventory Control Clerk, stockroom associate, or in a similar inventory management role.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between inventory system data and physical stock.
• Assist in managing inventory levels across multiple warehouses and sales channels.
• Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and receipts in the inventory management system.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and potential discrepancies for management review.
• Collaborate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
