Placements24 is seeking a highly organized and analytical Remote Inventory Management Specialist to join our operations team. This fully remote role oversees and optimizes inventory levels across multiple manufacturing and distribution points, using ERP systems to ensure accuracy and minimize stockouts.

You will analyze data to forecast demand, collaborate virtually with procurement, production, and sales, and identify opportunities to reduce carrying costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within manufacturing or retail.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels across all locations, ensuring accuracy through regular audits.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate virtually with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory with business needs.
• Manage stock control systems and ensure data integrity within the ERP.
• Identify opportunities to reduce carrying costs and minimize waste or obsolescence.
