Job summary
Placements24 is seeking an innovative Insurance Product Manager to lead development and lifecycle management of our insurance product portfolio in a fully remote role with a base near Sandton. You will partner with sales, underwriting, and claims to build competitive solutions that satisfy customers and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management within insurance, a business or MBA background, and a proven track record of launching and growing insurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years in product management with a strong focus on insurance.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing insurance products.
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for the insurance portfolio.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments.
- Define product requirements, features, and specifications with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration.
- Monitor product performance, profitability, and market adoption; adjust as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
