Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Remote Claims Investigator specializing in Insurance Fraud to join our dedicated team. Working entirely remotely, you will detect and investigate suspicious claims across lines of business, protecting assets and maintaining integrity for the North West region and beyond.

You will leverage advanced tools, conduct thorough investigations, and collaborate with SIU and legal counsel when needed, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Claims Investigator specializing in insurance fraud.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and fraud typologies.
• Excellent interviewing, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Proficient with investigation tools, databases, and digital forensics techniques.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
• Relevant fraud investigation certifications are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive and reactive investigations into potentially fraudulent insurance claims.
• Gather and analyze evidence, including documentation, interviews, and digital records, to assess the validity of claims.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal SIU teams, law enforcement, and legal counsel when necessary.
• Utilize fraud detection software and data analysis tools to identify patterns and red flags.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards throughout the investigation process.
