Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an Inside Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outreach to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft and Salesforce to manage pipelines and hit volume goals while keeping touchpoints high quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
