Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Monitor network and system logs for suspicious activity and potential security breaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Research and evaluate new security technologies and tools to enhance the security posture.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including architectural diagrams and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior security team members.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in information security engineering and operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in network security, endpoint security, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), and application security.
• Proficiency with security technologies such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, ELK), firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and vulnerability management tools.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation is highly advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in a distributed, remote team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
