The ideal candidate has 10+ years in information security, at least 5 in security architecture, and proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), IAM, DLP, and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience designing security architectures for large-scale, cloud/hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-wide information security architecture frameworks.
• Define security standards, guidelines, and best practices for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats and business needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to integrate security into the entire system development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, including diagrams, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct architectural reviews of proposed systems and applications to ensure adherence to security requirements.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to security and IT teams on architectural best practices.
• Ensure security architecture compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Proactively identify security gaps and propose innovative solutions to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years focused on security architecture.
• Proven experience designing and implementing security architectures for large-scale, complex environments, including cloud and hybrid solutions.
• Deep understanding of network security (firewalls, segmentation, IDS/IPS), endpoint security, data loss prevention (DLP), and identity and access management (IAM).
• Expertise in securing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF, or cloud security certifications are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead security initiatives and influence stakeholders in a remote setting.
