Placements24 is seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to join our fully remote, globally distributed team. You will design, implement, and maintain secure architectures across cloud and on‑premise environments, ensuring security is embedded from the ground up.

You will lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security standards, collaborating with engineering, product, and operations to drive secure development and resilient systems for a distributed international footprint.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Security; PhD is a plus.
• 8+ years in information security with at least 4 years in security architecture.
• Experience designing security solutions for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deep knowledge of network security, cryptography, IAM, and application security.
• Familiar with NIST and ISO 27001, plus compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and API security.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, SABSA, or TOGAF valued.

• In-depth knowledge of network security, cryptography, identity and access management (IAM), and application security.
• Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API security.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, SABSA, or TOGAF are highly valued.
