Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to remotely support operations including Mossel Bay. The role focuses on identifying strategic improvements across industrial processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate overall performance.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Industrial Engineering or related field, 8+ years in process optimization, and Black Belt Lean Six Sigma expertise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on process optimization.
• Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing industrial processes across multiple sites to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
• Develop data-driven strategies to reduce costs, waste and improve quality.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives remotely and support on-site teams.
• Model process changes with simulations to predict outcomes before implementation.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management with ROI projections.
• Promote continuous improvement by sharing best practices across units.
