Placements24 is seeking a Remote Information Security Specialist focused on Incident Response. The role safeguards digital assets by detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents in a fully remote setting.

You will join a global team, leveraging SIEM/EDR tools and incident response playbooks to protect sensitive data. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in information security, strong analytical skills, and certifications such as CySA+, GCIH, or CEH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security focusing on incident response.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and other security monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR and other tools.
• Analyze incidents to determine scope, impact and root cause.
• Conduct investigations into security breaches and cyber-attacks.
• Execute incident response procedures and playbooks effectively.
• Contain, eradicate and recover from incidents while documenting actions.
