Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Specialist to join our remote security team. In this critical role, you will manage and execute the organization's incident response plan, investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and drive swift recovery.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, develop playbooks, stay ahead of evolving threats, and contribute to strengthening security controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of incident response, digital forensics, or security operations.
• Proficiency with incident response tools and forensic analysis software.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and malware analysis.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of security incidents from detection to recovery.
• Perform forensic investigations to determine root cause and scope of breaches.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders during investigations.
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve controls.
• Stay current with emerging threats and incident response best practices.
