Placements24 is seeking an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Vereeniging, Gauteng. The role covers commercial contracts, corporate law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution, with a fully remote work arrangement.

You will provide pragmatic legal advice to multiple business units, draft and negotiate agreements, support mergers and regulatory matters, and help develop risk policies.

Competenze

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in-house or in a corporate law firm.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of South African corporate and commercial law.
• Experience with regulatory compliance.

• Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
• Manage and advise on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
