Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote HVAC Technician to support operations from Welkom and beyond. You will provide expert remote diagnostics, guide on-site technicians, and ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems across client locations using advanced telecommunication tools.
The role emphasizes problem-solving leadership, training material development, and collaboration with engineering teams to feedback on system performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on HVAC experience.
- Ability to diagnose complex HVAC problems including refrigerant cycles and airflow.
- Proficient with remote diagnostics, video conferencing, and digital communication.
- EPA Section 608 Universal certification required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for HVAC installation, maintenance and repair.
- Guide field technicians remotely through complex procedures.
- Develop training materials and best practices for the field service team.
- Analyze service data to identify recurring issues and propose systemic improvements.
- Document all remote interactions for knowledge base enhancement.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to feedback on system design and performance.
