Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives for offshore projects. This fully remote role requires strong regulatory knowledge, leadership, and the ability to drive a proactive safety culture across global operations.

The role covers policy development, risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and reporting on HSE performance. You will collaborate with project teams and regulators to ensure compliance and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE management experience, offshore oil & gas.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate/Diploma or CSP certification preferred.
• Proficiency with HSE management software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE management systems aligned with ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with offshore HSE regulations.
• Deliver HSE training for employees and contractors.
• Manage environmental impact assessments and pollution prevention.
• Promote safety culture through leadership and communication.
• Oversee emergency response planning for offshore facilities.
• Collaborate with project teams and regulators to meet HSE objectives.
• Report on HSE performance and drive continuous improvement.
