Placements24 is seeking a Senior HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives nationwide. The role is remote, offering strategic direction, compliance oversight, and a focus on best practice within the Oil & Gas sector.

You will develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies, train staff, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement while promoting a strong safety culture and sustainable environmental performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSE programs and policies.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation techniques.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working remotely and managing teams across different locations.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage the company's HSE management system.
Ensure compliance with national and international HSE regulations and industry standards.
Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, identify improvements and implement actions.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preventative measures.
Promote a positive and proactive HSE culture across the organization.
Manage environmental aspects, including waste, emissions, and reporting.
