Placements24 is seeking a diligent HR Officer in Pretoria to support the HR department. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and policy implementation, with a focus on accurate data and compliant processes.

This remote-friendly role offers exposure to HR operations, payroll assistance, and benefits administration within a collaborative team. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and 1–3 years of HR experience, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an HR Officer or HR Assistant role.
• Knowledge of HR principles, South African labour legislation, and HRIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
• Provide support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and queries.
• Assist in the administration of payroll, leave, and benefits programs.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and company policies.
