Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a knowledgeable HR Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to South African labor laws across its operations. This fully remote role enables work from anywhere in the country.

You will develop, monitor, and improve compliance policies, conduct audits, and guide management to maintain an ethical, legally compliant workplace. Responsibilities include policy development, audits, investigations, training, and staying updated on legislation such as BCEA, LRA, EEA, and SDA.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in HR compliance, labor law, or employee relations.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA).
• Experience developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
