Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Revenue Manager for a fully remote role based in South Africa. You will drive pricing, inventory control, and forecasting for a portfolio of hotel properties, collaborating with management and sales teams to optimize profitability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in revenue management within hospitality, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency with Excel and RM software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years in revenue management, preferably in hospitality.
Proven track record of increasing room revenue and profitability.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and RM software.

Responsibilities

Develop pricing and inventory strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
Forecast revenue daily, weekly, and monthly using market data and events.
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand to inform decisions.
Manage inventory across OTAs, GDS, and direct channels; align with sales and marketing.
Prepare regular revenue performance reports for senior management.
Identify upsell opportunities and monitor strategy effectiveness.
