Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Online Mathematics Tutor to support high school students remotely. You will conduct one-on-one and small group sessions, tailor learning plans, and provide clear explanations to build confidence in algebra through calculus.

The role offers flexible scheduling, the ability to work from home, and access to online teaching resources. A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education and online tutoring experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
Strong command of high school mathematics curriculum and concepts.
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics, preferably online.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Proficiency with online conferencing tools and digital whiteboards for remote instruction.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized online mathematics tutoring sessions for high school students, covering topics from algebra to calculus.
Develop tailored learning plans and supplementary materials to address individual student needs and learning styles.
