Placements24 is seeking a strategic and experienced Remote Head of Compliance to build and lead a world-class compliance function from the ground up, operating entirely remotely for a financial services-focused organization.

You will design and implement a robust compliance program, oversee AML/KYC and data privacy, manage regulatory relationships, and foster a culture of integrity across a distributed workforce.

Qualifications

• Law degree or a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business Administration, or Compliance.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, or legal roles within the financial services sector.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing effective compliance programs.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant South African and international financial regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills for a remote workforce.
