About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Officer to lead their compliance efforts from a remote position, supporting their operations across Sandton. This role is critical for ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will develop, implement, and manage robust compliance programs, conduct risk assessments, and provide strategic guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks within the financial services sector (or relevant industry), exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive a culture of compliance throughout a remote workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
• Oversee the implementation of compliance training programs for all employees.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the organization's practices remain up-to-date.
• Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements
