Placements24 is seeking a diligent Remote Compliance Officer to join their expanding team. This role is fully remote within South Africa, focusing on ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal policies across the organization.

You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, conduct risk assessments, train employees, liaise with regulators and auditors, and stay updated on relevant laws and regulatory requirements to uphold integrity and trust in the financial services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, AML, and KYC requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Previous remote-work experience in a compliance function is desirable.
