Job summary

Remote Choice is seeking a Growth Marketing Specialist to lead CRO strategy and experimentation for ecommerce clients. This remote role is based from South Africa and runs around 20 hours per week.

You will collaborate with designers, developers and copywriters to turn research into prioritized test ideas, building a scalable testing pipeline and driving measurable growth using GA4, AI analytics, and UX best practices; manage projects with agile methods.

Qualifications

• Proven CRO experience in agency or freelance setting with ecommerce/DTC clients.
• Experience using customer research and data analysis to shape testing strategy.
• Experience using AI tools to analyse data and inform testing decisions.
• Familiarity with GA4, Replo, and Shopify.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and testing tools.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and translate insights into action.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, running strategy sessions and check-ins alongside the agency founder.
• Develop and implement optimisation strategies tailored to client needs and goals.
• Identify growth opportunities through customer research, data analysis, and user testing.
• Develop and prioritise test ideas based on research and client objectives, building out a testing pipeline for each client.
• Run and analyse A/B and multivariate tests using tools like Convert, Intelligems, Shoplift and GA4.
• Use AI tools to support data analysis and the development of test ideas.
• Identify and optimise growth opportunities for clients that fall outside the traditional scope of CRO and A/B testing, including upsells, returns, and email capture.
• Lead on the creation of optimised landing pages for clients.
• Work with designers and developers to produce assets for tests and optimisations.
• Manage project timelines and ensure smooth execution using agile methods.
• Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools to measure test results and provide reports.
