Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to help build and evaluate AI systems that reason about security, compliance, and risk. This remote hourly-contract role offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and the chance to shape how AI understands complex risk environments.

You’ll review policies, map controls, and generate training data to improve AI reasoning in GRC domains, working independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on GRC, compliance, risk, or information security.
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF or equivalent.
• Ability to read and critique policy docs, control matrices, and audits.
• Detail-oriented with precise written reasoning.
• Self-motivated and reliable for async work.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and compliance procedures.
• Evaluate AI-generated compliance scenarios against SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style docs.
• Generate and validate training data to improve AI reasoning in GRC.
• Provide structured feedback influencing AI model quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your schedule.
