You will review detection logic, triage processes, and provide expert feedback to ensure AI outputs align with real analyst thinking and best practices. The role offers flexible, asynchronous work and potential ongoing engagements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations roles.
• Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows.
• Skilled at distinguishing genuine threat signals from noise and false positives.
• Comfortable documenting reasoning clearly and working through ambiguous scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SOC scenarios — alerts, incidents, and investigations to assess what happened and why it matters.
• Classify threat severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions.
• Review detection logic, triage workflows, and investigation methodologies for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate AI-generated security outputs and validate reflection of analyst thinking and best practices.
• Provide structured, expert feedback to help AI systems reason more effectively through security events.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
