Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration, logistics or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in sports operations management, event logistics, or similar role.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and large-scale sports events.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, planning and resource management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all logistical aspects of sports events, including venue booking, travel, and accommodation.
• Develop and maintain operational schedules for timely execution of activities.
• Oversee procurement and management of sports equipment and resources.
• Liaise with internal departments, vendors and governing bodies to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage budgets for sports operations, track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during events or programs.
