Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Sourcing Specialist to drive strategic sourcing initiatives globally, identifying, evaluating and onboarding new suppliers to boost competitiveness and resilience. You will optimize supplier performance and manage risk across categories.

You will conduct thorough market research, lead RFx events, negotiate terms, and collaborate with legal and finance to finalize contracts, while maintaining strong virtual relationships in an international, fully remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Proven track record managing complex sourcing projects.
• Expertise in RFx documents and supplier negotiations.
• Strong analytics, project management, and communication skills.
• Self-directed, remote work capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects across categories.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier research, and pre-qualifications.
• Develop RFx processes and solicit supplier proposals.
• Analyze proposals, negotiate terms, and select suppliers.
