Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global procurement strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
• Identify, vet, and onboard new suppliers worldwide, ensuring they meet stringent quality, ethical, and financial standards.
• Lead complex negotiations with international suppliers to secure optimal pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Manage the entire procure-to-pay cycle for global operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and company policies.
• Continuously monitor global market dynamics, geopolitical events, and economic trends that may impact supply chain stability and costs.
• Implement and manage risk mitigation strategies for the global supply chain, including diversification of suppliers and contingency planning.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development, logistics, and finance, to forecast demand and manage inventory levels globally.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the global procurement function, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive reports on global procurement performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the remote procurement team.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of extensive experience in global procurement and strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of managing international suppliers and complex negotiations.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing global procurement strategies that have led to significant cost savings and supply chain improvements.
• Strong understanding of international trade laws, customs regulations, and foreign exchange management.
• Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport and drive consensus across different cultures and time zones.
• Proficiency in modern procurement technologies, including e-sourcing platforms, supplier relationship management (SRM) systems, and advanced data analytics tools.
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
• High degree of adaptability and resilience in managing the complexities of a global supply chain.
