Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead our global procurement initiatives from a Cape Town base. The role is fully remote, offering high flexibility while coordinating with international teams to optimize value and risk across a diverse product range.

You will design global sourcing strategies, manage supplier networks, and drive cost reductions with strong negotiation and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Business Administration, SCM, or related discipline.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, global procurement, or category management.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex international agreements.
• Strong understanding of risk mitigation and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement global sourcing strategies to meet business needs and reduce costs.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers worldwide with ethical and quality standards.
• Lead complex negotiations for high-value contracts, including pricing, terms, and SLAs.
