Placements24 is seeking an exceptional General Counsel to lead its legal function for a rapidly scaling multinational technology startup. This fully remote position requires guiding corporate governance, IP, contracts, compliance, and fundraising across global operations from your chosen location.

The ideal candidate will have extensive startup/scale-up experience, a proven GC track record, and strong cross-border expertise to navigate tech sector challenges while advising the executive team and

Competenze

Admitted attorney with 10–15 years post-qualification experience in corporate law, M&A, IP, and contracts.
Experience as General Counsel or senior legal leader in a startup or high-growth tech company.
Strong cross-border and international business law expertise.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Mansioni

Oversee global legal matters including corporate law, securities, IP, employment, and data privacy.
Lead governance with board meetings, minutes, and regulatory filings.
Negotiate complex commercial agreements, M&A, and partnerships.
Develop robust compliance programs and internal policies.
Advise executive team and board on legal risks and strategies.
Manage external counsel relationships.
Ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
