Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Legal Counsel to join its globally distributed legal team. The role focuses on complex international commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management across jurisdictions, advising executives and business development teams.

You will lead negotiations, support global expansion, and oversee intellectual property and data privacy matters, with a fully remote setup offering flexibility and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in international corporate law.
• Strong expertise in cross-border contracts and M&A.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to explain complex issues.
• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects remotely.
• Experience with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation and drafting of complex international commercial contracts and partnership agreements.
• Provide strategic legal counsel on global expansion, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with diverse international laws and regulations, including data privacy and trade compliance.
• Manage and advise on intellectual property portfolios, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
• Oversee and guide external legal counsel on specialized matters in various international markets.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to support global business operations effectively.
