Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our FMCG team in a remote-first role, supporting operations across Bloemfontein and beyond. You will analyze data to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and improve logistics performance, collaborating with sales, marketing, and external partners to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or logistics, preferably FMCG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel.
• Experience with demand forecasting and inventory management principles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and areas for cost reduction and performance improvement.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
• Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers, recommending optimal stock levels.
• Track key supply chain metrics and generate regular performance reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistical efficiency and delivery times.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.
