This fully remote role empowers you to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions while collaborating with sales, marketing, and supply chain to drive growth from anywhere in South Africa.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in category or brand management in FMCG, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Nielsen/IRI data and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years in category management, brand management, or FMCG-related role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing profitable category strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to grow market share.
• Analyze market data, consumer insights, and trends.
• Optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions for profits.
• Create go-to-market plans with sales and marketing.
• Manage supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor KPIs and provide actionable recommendations.
