The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in category management, strong data skills, and a solid understanding of retail and wholesale dynamics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in category management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Strong understanding of retail and wholesale channel dynamics and consumer purchasing behavior.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency in category management software and MS Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that align with company objectives and market trends.
• Analyze sales data, market share, and competitor performance to identify category opportunities and risks.
• Optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotional plans for assigned categories.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring product availability.

• Monitor category performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
