Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Flight Operations Officer to join our remote team. You will oversee flight planning, scheduling, and logistics for a diverse fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory adherence from a fully remote setup.

The role requires 5+ years in flight operations, proficiency with Lido/Jeppesen/Sabre, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will collaborate with pilots, maintenance, and regulators to maintain flawless schedules and records.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Aviation Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in flight operations or airline operations control.
• Proficiency with flight planning software and airline operational control systems.
• Solid understanding of aviation regulations, meteorology, and navigation principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and remote teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize flight plans considering weather, ATC, aircraft performance, and regulatory constraints.
• Manage aircraft and crew scheduling, ensuring duty time and operational requirements compliance.
• Monitor flight progress and implement contingency plans.
• Liaise with pilots, maintenance, ground ops and regulators.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to aviation regulations and company policies.
