Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Flight Dispatcher to join our remote operations center. You will plan and monitor flights, ensure safe and compliant operations, and coordinate with pilots and air traffic control from a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate has a valid Flight Dispatcher license, 6+ years in flight operations, and strong knowledge of meteorology, aviation regulations, navigation, and aircraft systems.

Qualifications

• Valid Flight Dispatcher license or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years in flight operations or dispatch.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, meteorology, navigation, and aircraft systems.
• Proficiency with flight planning software and comms systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue flight plans, considering weather conditions, ATC restrictions, and aircraft performance.
• Monitor flight progress in real-time, provide updates and adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate with pilots, ATC, and stakeholders regarding flight operations.
• Ensure compliance with international and domestic aviation regulations and company policies.
• Analyze weather forecasts to assess potential impacts on operations.
• Train and mentor junior dispatchers in a remote team environment.
