Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Fleet Operations Manager to oversee fleet operations from a fully remote location. You will coordinate maintenance, driver schedules, and route optimization across a nationwide logistics network.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in fleet management, proven remote-team leadership, and strong data analysis and communication skills to drive efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness in a distributed operation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in fleet management or operations.
Experience managing remote teams and operations.
Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance.
Proficiency with fleet management software and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for efficient fleet management and resource allocation.
Oversee vehicle maintenance programs, ensuring compliance and minimizing downtime.
Coordinate with drivers and third‑party logistics providers to optimize routes and schedules.
Monitor fleet performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
