Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and proactive Remote Fleet Operations Coordinator to manage and optimize our transportation fleet's performance from anywhere. This fully remote role requires strong organizational skills, expertise in TMS and GPS, and the ability to communicate across teams while working autonomously.

You will oversee dispatching, scheduling, and route optimization for remote drivers, monitor performance with telematics, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet management or logistics coordination.
• Proficiency with TMS and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or SCM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations including dispatching and scheduling.
• Monitor fleet performance using telematics and GPS tracking.
• Communicate with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage driver schedules, availability, and regulatory compliance.
• Address operational issues and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain records of deliveries, performance, and fleet status.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Prepare operational reports for management review.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for servicing and repairs.
