Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Fleet Dispatcher to manage logistics from a home-based office in South Africa. You will coordinate drivers, optimize routes, monitor real-time tracking, and support field operations to hit delivery targets across Richards Bay region and surrounding areas.

The role requires clear communication, multitasking, and proficiency with dispatch software and GPS systems, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet dispatch or logistics coordination.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and best practices in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily activities for a fleet of drivers, ensuring optimal route planning and delivery efficiency.
• Monitor driver progress and vehicle locations using real-time tracking systems.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams via phone, email, and dispatch software.
• Manage and resolve logistical challenges, such as delays, vehicle issues, or customer concerns, promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver performance, and delivery status updates.
• Implement and enforce company policies related to safety, compliance, and customer service.
