Placements24 seeks a meticulous Remote Fleet Dispatch Administrator to manage the dispatch operations from a fully remote position, coordinating a large nationwide fleet from Centurion for administrative purposes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and capable of managing drivers and operations remotely with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include real-time fleet monitoring, route optimization, records maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet dispatch or logistics coordination.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and remote-team management skills.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently with initiative in a remote setting.
• High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily dispatch of vehicles and drivers across service areas.
• Monitor fleet movements and operations in real-time using tracking systems.
• Optimize routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce transit times.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers, providing support and addressing queries.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and performance data.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and remote breakdown responses.
• Communicate delivery updates and issues to clients.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and policies.
• Analyze dispatch data to identify trends and improvements.
• Assist in managing driver allocations and resource utilization.
