Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Dispatcher & Fleet Administrator to manage dispatch operations and support fleet management from a remote location in South Africa. You will coordinate daily vehicle dispatch, monitor real-time progress, and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance and efficient routes.

The role requires experience with dispatch software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently from home.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet dispatch or logistics coordination.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily dispatch of vehicles and drivers to optimize routes and schedules.
• Communicate with drivers via phone, email, or dispatch software to provide instructions and updates.
• Monitor driver progress and delivery status in real-time and address delays promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of driver activities, vehicle status, and logs.
• Assist with fleet administration tasks including tracking maintenance schedules and fuel use.
• Ensure compliance with transport laws and company policies.
• Primary point of contact for drivers needing support.
