Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Dispatch and Fleet Coordinator to manage operations from anywhere in South Africa. You will oversee drivers, optimize routes, and maintain clear communication with the field, ensuring on-time deliveries across a national network.

This fully remote role requires strong logistics experience, proficiency with GPS tracking and route software, and excellent time management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, or fleet management.
• Proficiency with route optimization software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent remote communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team virtually.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for delivery and transport operations using advanced logistics software.
• Monitor fleet activities in real-time, ensuring adherence to schedules and delivery targets.
• Optimize delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Serve as the primary contact for drivers, addressing queries and resolving logistical issues remotely.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet movements, driver performance, and delivery confirmations.
