Placements24 is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Fleet Dispatch Coordinator to manage logistics operations from a home-based setting in the Stellenbosch region. You will coordinate a fleet of drivers, optimize routes, and ensure efficient movement of goods while maintaining safety standards in a fully remote capacity.

The role requires exceptional communication, proficiency in dispatch software, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dispatch Coordinator or similar logistics role.
• Fluent with fleet management and dispatch software (Route4Me, Maximo, or TMS).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities.
• Solid knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily routes for a fleet of delivery vehicles, optimizing for efficiency and cost.
• Monitor driver locations in real-time using dispatch software and GPS tracking.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, providing clear instructions and updates.
