Placements24 seeks an accomplished Project Manager to oversee critical industrial engineering and logistics projects in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role emphasizes remote-first work, strategic oversight, and execution to drive efficiency and cost reductions.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross‑functional teams, implement new technologies, monitor risks, and report progress to senior management while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience with emphasis on industrial engineering and logistics.
• Experience with supply chain optimization, lean manufacturing or operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Leadership and team management capabilities, with remote stakeholder influence.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and WMS is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects focused on industrial engineering, process optimization, and logistics improvements.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including operations, supply chain, procurement, and IT.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions.
• Implement new technologies and methodologies to streamline logistics and production processes.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
