Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Remote Financial Risk Manager to oversee identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks. This fully remote role reports to senior leadership and requires expertise in risk modeling and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a quantitative field and has 8+ years of experience in financial risk management within banking or financial services, with strong communication for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related quantitative field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial risk management.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and risk management techniques.
Proficiency in risk modeling software and statistical analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive financial risk management strategies and policies.
Identify, assess, and monitor key financial risks, including market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk.
Design and manage risk modeling processes and stress testing scenarios.
Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to senior management.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement risk mitigation plans.
